This delightful Sweep bear has all his original features and comes with a 100% cotton hand-knitted blue BWB Waistcoat.

This Sweep plush is not jointed.
Stands at and is 14" (36cm) tall.
 
He has a partially removed label on his underside the inside which is undoubtedly a Wendy Boston label.
 
Sooty has the iconic, patented screw--in-lock plastic safety eyes.
 
He is made from a pale grey faux fur with black faux fur hand paws. 
 
This Sweep Plush appears in my article for the Teddy Bear Times & Friends magazine Issue No. 277.
 
As with a lot of Plushies of this era, he was filled with foam chippings which is potentially toxic and this has been carefully removed and this gave me the opportunity to give Sooty a gentle hand wash and left to dry naturally so is nice and fresh for you.
 
The stuffing has been replaced with a premium graded polyester fibre stuffing - so you have no need to worry about the cost of upgrading  and dealing with this issue.
