Alvin
 
1970’s Vintage Golden Mohair Chiltern/Chad Valley  
 
Alvin has received a full health check at Blinkley Wood Bears Hospital and is in good original condition for his 45 years and has been given a lovely bright red ribbon.
 
It feels like he has a growler or squeaker which is not working.  I have identified Alvin from the book “The Ultimate Teddy Bear Book” by Pauline Cockrill

Approx Height: Paw to Ears is 16 “  (40cm).    Sits at 12” (30cm)
 
Fur:  Golden coloured luxury mohair
 
Filling: According to the book synthetic fibre (I have not opened him up)
 
Eyes: Original black and amber plastic safety eyes 
 
Nose & Mouth: Original black stitched
 
Paw Pads: Original Brown knitted synthetic velour type. No claw features
